Web Client Resources - Yourell Media
This site style is under development, please pardon any glitches. It's simple, but functional.

Examples and Templates

It started with a template: The client selected this very affordable template for the conference site (below). See how much it changed through color and graphics.

Conference Site: I did most of the graphics, and reworked the layout heavily. It started with the template, though (above). I edited much of the copy as well. My clients always appreciate this.

The Next Year: The client used the same template, with graphic and layout changes for a different atmosphere.

Close Up: A close look shows the quality of the graphic banner.

Close Up: In this banner, mysterious images were superimposed, colorized, and flowed out of their normal boundaries.

Psych Innovations Store: I did all the graphics, but it started with a template. I engineered and created most of the streaming audio, too.

Here is the template: from Template Monster (used above). Note, however, that this involved extensive reworking of the original template art, as with the conference site. I engineered and created most of the streaming audio on the site, as well as the label art for the CD's.

Simple and Quick: I'm out of time! Guess I'll grab a template and load my text. Here's my home page. The guy in the chair? He's enjoying one of my recordings. Not really. It's a stock photo that came in the banner.

Photo & Graphic Retouching

Album Art: My highly-praised psychoacoustic sound.

Album Art: It is kitch or not? Ancient bling encountered on a quest for Rumi's lawn ornaments.

Original image: A snapshot from an inexpensive camera.

Retouched: Numerous changes, including blacking out and dimming some distracting bright spots. Reduced redness that film often puts into faces. Added a cinematic blueish tone to the surroundings.

Stylized: Some colorization, haze, and simplification.

Original image: What can we do with a poor quality photo of a hansome gentleman in need of a web site?

First, we crop.

And reduce the effect of poor lighting. Note how the shadows hide less, but age less. And this fellow is ageless. Even eye color is restored.

Original. Too bad, cloudy day. Is there any help?

Retouched. Green colors and sky are enhanced a bit, dark trees lightened. Cropping is a cinematic style this time, to change the feeling of the space. Shadows are reduced.

Dear Potential Client,
